Credit Card PPI Capital1/Citi/Aqua/RBS

Hi,

I've tried to look around for the answer to this so many apologies if it's been asked already:o
I sent letters to the above on the 18th Nov and heard back only from Aqua ('Uncleans' lending arm of Halifax). (will be in touch shortly with an amount etc etc)

Firstly, how long should I wait for Aqua to get back to me?
Secondly, why havn't the others got back to me?

Hi there

Good luck with your claims.;)

They all have 8 weeks in full to respond, if they don't then move on to the financial ombudsman service (FOS).
Did you post your letters by recorded delivery?

I did, although since posting I checked on the Royal Mail tracker service and one of them says "we left a card".

That was for Citicard - very hard to contact them! Their call centre doesn't know a thing. However, I've found an email address for them on one of the earlier pages (I'm still trawling through!).

That's a right pain for you isn't it?

See if others on there have some details for you.;)

Although once the 8 weeks have passed and you heard nothing, your still entitled to take to the FOS if you want to.
