we will be having bacon and brie croissants and kir royale or maybe bucks fizz0

Yum the muffins sound great! We don't normally have brekkie either but have the smoked salmon mid morning to tide us over. However my favourite brekkie is eggs benedict! Muffin, with ham, poached egg and warm hollandaise sauce! My absoloute favourite!0

we usually try and have a special breakfast on xmas morning. It always has to be cup of tea, glass of bucks fizz then smoked salmon, cream cheese bellinis or pancakes etc but as we will have a newborn for ease we are going for a nice bacon buttie with tomato sauce. This is my signature!0

We usually have butteries/rowies. They are a bit like round flat croissants, but denser, and lovely! They are traditional in and around Aberdeen, and the NE of Scotland. Full of lard, and salt, but great in the morning with some real butter and a cup of strong tea.
If I am feeling extra calorific, I split them in half and pop in a couple of rashers of bacn - heart attack on a plate but they taste sooooooo good! :eek:0 -
bacon sandwiches or cereal/toast.:footie:0

we normally have bacon butties but this year I'm planning to make HM english muffins and serve them with scrambled eggs and crispy smoked bacon. Will be mid morning when we get it though as I'm working a couple of hours first then its time for mum & I to have our traditional walk to the farm to muck out the horses!!0

We normally have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. But this year we'll be away - a 4-night Christmas break. I hope we'll be up in time to go to 8 am Christmas Communion at Coventry Cathedral and then get back to the hotel for a late breakfast before going to the leisure centre (in the hotel).Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
