Opinions on Betterware?

One huge advantage of Betterware (my oh did it for 4 years), is that unlike Kleeneze you get a dedicated area. No one else can drop catalouges in to your customers.

But you could still get a Kleeneze and a Betterware catalogue through on the same day. I fail to see how having your own dedicated area which therefore limits the amount and type of customers can be good for business. It could potentially make you complacent about your customer service.

I meant redelivering to different houses- didn't word it very well! So say I drop 100 catalogues , collect them and get some orders would I then order the items from Betterware? Or do I wait until I deliver more catalogues- just a bit confused as to how it works.
Youll have to start a Betterware thread Orenthal like the Avon hints and tips one!

You organize your orders with your Co-Ordinator at the end of every week and they will either pick up a large order sheet with everything you would like on it or they'll take the order over the phone for you. Once everything is sorted there, the Co-Ordinator will then order the items from Betterware HQ and bring them round to you the following week, which you would then take out to the customers and get the money for them.

The following week from that, when your Co-Ordinator brings round the next lot of items you've ordered is when you sort out your money from the first week, the co-ordinator will take 80% away and you recieve the 20% commission which is all yours to keep!

Your always a week behind so to say due to ordering things in, but once you get going it's very easy to follow :)

With regard to a 'Betterware Hints & Tips thread', if enough people are interested and would like help then let me know and i'll start one :)

You could indeed get a Betterware and Kleeneze book through on the same day but the Betterware Agent has no control over Kleeneze and there isn't anything you can do about it.

However if you had 3-4 Betterware Agents fighting over the same area, constantly dropping books, there is a much lower chance of building up a loyal customer base with one agent due to the amount of different agents dropping books. It really helps when the customer actually can see your reliable and deal with the same person everytime.

You are allowed more areas though, you just have to discuss this with your co-ordinator to see if any areas are free and he/she will hand them over to you.

I started with only a few hundred houses but as I asked for more, I now have over 1500+ houses and I could request more if needed. It all depends on how many agents are working in the area near you and what areas are free.

Brilliant, I wouldn't be looking to start until next Spring but would be good to get some info in advance :-)
