Cheapest / Best Deal Broadband in Wales?

Hi all,
I'm likely moving into my new place in late July, in Aberystwyth, and wondered if anyone knows the best deal I can get broadband for in this area? I'd rather not go with BT as my parents have had nothing but trouble with both the software/hardware and connection supplied by them. I was thinking NTL, is their connection usually reliable?
ta all! xx

There are plenty of ISPs to choose from using ADSL. You can use any that supply services via BTw's IPstream service. There aren't any LLU ISPs (eg those that offer up to 24Mbps using ADSL2+), and there is no cable service (NTL/Telewest) in that area.
See ADSLguide for info on all the main ISPs. Use their compare tool to see how customers have voted their services. And see the Message Boards for all kinds of info on ISP's, and towards the bottom are forums for the ISPs.
Take a look at these two resellers of EntaNets service - I hear they are good for price & service:-
Freeola Free activation, 3 month contract, and discounted - goes up after 3rd month.
UK FSN £52.88 activation, 1 month contract.0 -
zazizam are all a provider to consider - from £11.99 a month0
