doggo gets a bowl of christmas dinner - as food is her favourite thing in the world anyway, I think she is happy with that! She isnt bothered about balls, toys etc at all, otherwise I might get her something!

However, at the end of the day, she is a dog and does not know the difference between christmas and any other day - and I never feel very 'christmassy' anyway - and I dont buy much for humans either! lol - but if people enjoy buying things for their dogs and cats at christmas, then go for it!

Haven't bought anything for my two yet although Im sure they will be having some raw turkey which they will enjoy!
After wrapping presents the other night, I have discovered that both kitties have a penchant for wrapping paper as they destroyed almost a whole roll!! So maybe Ill just give them the leftovers to play with?;)

It's my dogs first christmas this year so he'll be getting spoilt!! He's recently managed to ruin all his toys, so his presents are just going to be replacing those.

He's getting my dad's cats a christmas present too.

I can remember our pets always having presents while I was a child, even the granparents used to bring a present for the dogs, lol, Sheba the labrador used to open her own, clenched between front paws, bite off the wrapping paper and spit it out and voila, one very happy and proud doggie :D

Our kitten has a Da Bird for christmas. He was the easiest to buy for...

I carefully wrap my dogs presents, but it's silly because I am the one to unwrap them too. He will get a few new toys and he has his own stocking.

I felt sorry for my friends dog who wasnt getting anything for Christmas, so I gave him one of my dogs prezzies.
  • One year my dog ate every single chocolate I had bought for Christmas from under the tree. He has never done it before, so why he did that year was a mystery to us although we blame the Old Jamacia bars as they were very aromatic.
In total he scoffed 4 old Jamacia bars, a box of Maltesers, a box of Dairy Box and a bag of chocolate raisins.
He looked very very happy sitting under the tree, licking his lips when we came in.

My sister's pug gets wrapped presents under the tree and she knows when it's her turn for one to be opened and goes mad. It's really sweet. She likes glove puppets that my brother in law can play with her with.
I found some catnip choccy type drops for my cousin's cat in Asda, plus a little reindeer on a string thing. I'm going to wrap them up. I love buying pet presents.

  • It might sound a little bit stupid, but we treat our dog as if hes our child (not to the extent of having him at the table with a plate etc)

So yep, we buy him a gift.. but then we're not the only ones. We both have our parents and siblings which are very into buying him a gift too. We've brought him a cloth type stocking in which we'll put in a ball and a bone.

My OH's sister brought him a doggy advent calender.. which i thought was maybe a little to far but hes enjoying burying his doggy chocolates everyday.
