I agree we should not comment about the severity or othrwise of other peoples's conditions and how it affects them as we actually do not know.

agree that a person's health is not for us to judge and comment on in a negative manner. My experince of ATOS is that they are a total farce, I am apparently due to be "work ready" in Febuary, despite my informing them that I am due more surgery in Jan and will be in hospital for two weeks and have been advised that this will be followed by at least 7 weeks recuperation. The whole thing is a farce but a farce with serious consequences as the whole reasoning behind ESA is to deny benefits to people. I have had NO help and support from the agency i attend for my work focused interviews, there is no privacy there, I have to discuss my personal health issues in an open plan office, and on a practical level there is no work available where I live apart from short term part time minimum wage stuff. When I am better I am perfectly willing to do work of this nature but I do need to get better and I think my doctor is the best judge of this, not someone following a computer assessment process and a DWP decision maker counting up points. The world has gone mad!

Yet that isn't what this board is for. It's here to help people find out what they are entitled to under the current system, and to help them get it. Benefits do provide a lifeline for many, and this site is here to help people with their money, and not to judge.
