Our bolier is really old and rates at 65% so we will qualify, it will be interesting to see what the details of this are. It will be of no use if its big companys only.0

How do I find out the efficiency rating for my 15-year old Potterton Prima F50 boiler?
The nearest I can find in the SEDBUK tables is this: A 'Prima' is not listed. and this could not be 15 years old.
Give them a ring.

Thanks Cardew. We moved here in 1994, so the boiler must be approaching 15 years old.0

Well I cannot find a 'Prima' in the SEDBUK tables (only suprima). It is not listed in the Ofgem G rated lists either.
However as the suprima 50 was first manufactured in 1997 and is E rated, there is a strong likelyhood that a older model is F or G rated. It could well be listed under another name or set of initials.0 -
I've looked over the SEDBUK tables and I don't see anything that really matches my boiler. I did a quick search on the spreadsheet Premier linked in, and I *think* I might have a "Caradon Ideal W rs450" - but it actually says "Stelrad Group Ideal W" on the front and has "rs 450" on the ticket inside...
Does anyone know if I'm barking up the wrong tree, or is Stelrad now called Caradon?0 -
Rob 71, I have exactly the same boiler as you, having re-check the list and noting GC No. also marked on the label inside (41-407-55), this matches with the Caradon ideal w rs 450 listed. So I reckon our old boiler will probably qualify... whether it is worth it depends on the red tape and hoops that we'll have to jump through to get it !0
