Do E.On have an E10 tariff?
As subject. I have scoured the E.On website but can't find reference to it, so does anyone here - or better still an E.On rep, know if I can have E.On change my meter to an E10 tariff?
I have a combination of electric heating and Air Source Heap Pump system, so would benefit from an off peak tariff such as this. E7 would not work.

Yes, it's called Heatwise.
However I'm not sure who is elegible for it, whether it is available to new customers or available in all regions. You would need to check with E.On if interested.
Be aware that choice of supplier on E10 tariffs is extremely limited so not usually recommended."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Thanks. Already contacted them to ask if they have such a tariff and the rates/terms, but as yet no response.
Realise the options are limited, but it's the right tariff for my needs, so I either keep paying usual daytime rates for electric heating or move across to an E10 tariff, pay slightly more in the day but benefit from better rates at hours suitable for running the heating.0 -

Hi Andy
Economy 10 is available in all areas but only for properties which meet certain criteria; particularly those with storage and water heating.
I would suggest talking over your requirements with our metering people. If your property fits the criteria, we will be happy to change your meter and put you on this tariff.
Just a heads up Andy; there will be a charge to change the meter. This is currently £50.
As this is a specialist meter/tariff I am afraid it doesn't feature on our website.
Hope this answers your question. Give me a shout if you need any more info; will be happy to help.

Hi Premier
Heatwise is similar to Economy 10 but is only available in the East Midlands region (area 11).
I believe there are also technical differences between the two systems. However, being a non-techy bod, I'm not sure what these entail.

A lovely lady from Eon called me today to discuss my needs, but having done the maths with her on the phone it seems I wouldn't gain much, if anything at all, by moving across to E10 - especially after factoring in the initial costs of having the meter fitted and making the necessary changes at my end.0

I am in Birmingham and currently on E7 with E.On, which is currently uncompetitive.
Could you tell me what the tariff prices are for each period - day, night and top-up?
Cheers.0 -

I can't believe anyone would consider moving onto E10.
I suppose at least you won't be on an uncompetitive tariff as there are usually no (or extremely few) competitors!"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Thanks for that, but I take it that you do not know the answer. I would really like to know what the E10 tariff prices are from E.On in Brum.0
