best thing to do would be get an ethernet cable and attach to the laptop then u can download the wireless drivers.0

Does your laptop have wireless capability?
Some older models don't.
Even if it has you will need to switch it on.
Very often just a button on the keyboard will do that.

OK i went on to the website it downloaded a detective thing that i now have to pay for if i want to fix my probs AHHH!!!!
Im using the dongle with the BT internet that has a 500 min limit, so i cant continue to use this when i click on the wireless it says no wireless network adapter available????

No idea what you have downloaded or why you would be expected to pay for something.
What did you download?
What did you think you were downloading?
What dongle are you using? The o2 one?
Can you not plug the laptop into your bt router and use your bt broadband?
Then we can work through the wireless problems.
What "wireless" are you clicking on?
