You did have an o2 dongle - mobile broadband
Now you have - what exactly?

    Thanks

Does your laptop have wireless capability?
    Some older models don't.
Even if it has you will need to switch it on.
Very often just a button on the keyboard will do that.

What Operating system does the laptop have?

  • Ok can do that where do i download it from???

What OS is it running? There may well be a wireless set up wizard that will walk you through the whole process.

No idea what you have downloaded or why you would be expected to pay for something.
    What did you download?
What did you think you were downloading?

What dongle are you using? The o2 one?

Can you not plug the laptop into your bt router and use your bt broadband?

Then we can work through the wireless problems.
What "wireless" are you clicking on?

And what OS do you have on your laptop?
