Pooky when OH went in to see them they said basically that our CTC/WTC entitlement had changed since we applied and hence why they have overpaid. Now I KNOW I would have told them if it had changed but what I think happened is that when I applied they said they got the information direct from CTC/WTC and of course they probably hadn't updated their records so therefore incorrect amount was given. I know I specifically remember phoning CTC people and them telling me to phone back when I had our entitlement from Housing Benefit and JSA so presumed that was the correct order to do it in. Ah its all a mess but nothing I can do about it. Ive checked the forms they sent and the amount of CTC on the first form is incorrect and now it is correct, even though it was correct at the time IYSWIM....too bloody confusing!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Today I really must do housework! Keep putting it off, but the parents have confirmed they are coming to visit on Saturday, so needs to be presentable. My Mom's house is like a show house, not a thing out of place. Don't know where I get my messiness and lack of interest in housework from
Going to pop to Morrison's and see if they have the £4 festive offer in my store. Might have a cuppa in the cafe there. Lol, anything to put off housework.0 -
Morning all! My eyes seem to finally be clearing up. I need to go pick up an order from b&q, and I want to have a look at a couple of shops isn town, other than that it's a housework day.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Chick Chick, I know the feeling! My dad's house is perfect, he even washes the bathroom sink ever time he rinses his hands! He refuses to come to my place cos it's usually messy.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
