camera phone lens damaged by pocket.

I have a good quality xda mini camera phone on a o2 online tariff contract, the lens on the back of the phone has become blurred from being inside a pocket( within a silicone case), resulting in the quality of the pictures beoming unusable. this is surely a design flaw which i am not happy abut this and would like advice before i tackle o2 about it.
