The dress requires drycleaning so i'm thinking a small refund to accomodate this should be ok?
Yes! I would be emailing for the cost of dry cleaning. Sometimes though, even that won't help. I bought a silk skirt which was marked down the back (sold as new with tags though they were dress agency tags). I was so cross and got £5 out of the seller for cleaning - they bargained about the cost! I recently took it in to discover one mark they couldn't get out was blood. Euch. That was after two dry clean cycles.0 -

I have refunded the cost of dry cleaning in the past when buyer found a mark on a coat that I had missed, and was happy to do so. If you are unhappy I urge you to communicate with your seller before you consider feedback. HTH0

Hi
Thank you all for your responses.
I emailed the seller stating the issue and asked them to advise. I didn't state that I wanted a refund to the dry cleaning cost as I wanted them to offer me solutions.
The seller was really polite and immediately offered either a refund of drycleaning or full refund of the item. I really really want the dress so i've opted for dry cleaning.
Thank you all sooo much.:T

That's great. Just to make sure your seller is totally happy that you're not trying it on (just in case there's a niggle) you should ring your local dry cleaner, ask for a quote and then email the seller to say 'I've spoken to xxxx where I live and they will clean the dress for £xxx'.0
