Lots of catering size Schwartz herbs/spices - 99p to £1.99-ish. Black pepper, cumin, cinnamon sticks, Thai spice, madras, etc.

Could be worth buying the cinnamon sticks ready to make Christmas decorations later in the year.

That's exactly what I was thinking! They're the really long sticks too, they're £1.50 for a big tub.

    Easter eggs leftover stock-
Small Ben 10, Star Wars etc 19p with stickers
Bumber packs with marshmallows, chocolate egg and a small chocolate and rice krispie bar - 29p
Tin bucket - disney princess, spiderman or Toy story with choc eggs and marshmallows - 50p
Mug with choc egg - Star Wars, Toy story etc - 29/39p?
Breakfast set with egg cup/soldier plate, mug, toast stamper and choc egg - 99p

Box of Thorntons milk chcolates, £1.99. These ones http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/product/Factory_Clearance/0428.htm

Also had the Shining Star teddies that a lot of people were after in the Home Bargains thread - they were a black teddy/cat with silver glittery threads in the fur. Think they were £1.99

I recently got a superb pair of sunglasses (the kind models and personalities wear!) for £1.99 in B&M just outside Dumfries. I also got gourmet cat food sachets at 25p (Tesco 37p). I'm never out of the place, and the gardening stuff is a fraction of what you'd pay at a garden centre.
I was told B&M stood for Blackpool and Morecambe where they originated.
(Or maybe someone's having me on!)

    Small warning....

They are currently selling garden rocking loungers, they look lovely and are £19.99 each or two for £36. Bargain. Or not...

Got them home, started to assemble one and it became obvious that where the frame slots into the rocker the metal is so tight it shears. Sitting on the rocker then puts pressure on the joint and it splits. We came to the conclusion that the split was only going to get worse over time and took them back for a refund :(

B&M does not stand for Bargain Madness :o It wouldn't make sense to have the & still in if they changed the meaning of the name. Although I suppose Bargains & Madness would be a good description of working there :rotfl: I'm sure I read on the website ages ago that it was the initials of the brothers who own the company, that's what our managers say as well because we always get people asking us what it stands for.

In fact, most of the stores I've seen say something completely different on the signs, for example the store I work in says B&M Bargain Madness, Middlesbrough says B&M Bargains and More, some just say B&M. Someone else who works there says she always thinks of Bangers & Mash :rotfl:

Anyway, a bargain.... :o 6 bags of Niknaks with 100% extra free, so 12 bags for 99p
