I have paid the £30 and got the membership card. I did it about 3 months ago. I just thought i would email them and see what was happening when i noticed their website is shut down.
Will i ever be able to get my £30 back??

    I'm afraid it's highly unlikely.

I suggest you view this as a relatively cheap introduction to scammers and be thankfull that you did not get taken in by one of the more expensive scams that can ruin your life.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for people on here to continue to name and shame these scammers (addresses etc) as well as going to their local Trading Standards.
The posts in this forum have good search engine coverage and always seem to come up in my searches for anything - so it may do some other poor soul a favour to warn them off.
The fact that someone picked this leaflet up in a job centre is also scandalous - they should also be reported. Job Centres don't seem to be quite what they were and I have seen these scamming types of "jobs" even on their own website list of vacancies.
I also agree with the other posters about kindness and forum etiquette - not everyone knows everything - and when folks get really desperate for cash, they can ignore their own "warning bells" and persuade themselves that it will all be okay!
  • Any JOBCENTRE who can give people access to such scams by providing their leaflets, want reprted. Some people who are desperate for work will choose to do this sort of work, and if it is advertised at the jobcentre then they will automatically asume it is legit. Shame on the Jobcentre

I can only guess that the fact you refer to yourself as "we" is why you were taken in by an online scam.

I find it bizarre that anyone with internet access could ever be taken in by adverts pretending to offer "home working".
