Funny - Safestyle have a constant BOGOF or 'back windows free' offer on, but the quotes are usually still around the same price as the others.Profit=sanity
Turnover=vanity
Greed=inhumanity:dance:0 -
V V Worried now! Signed the surveyers report today (2 days into the 7 day cool off period). The contract is in my hubby's name (as mortgage is in his name)..I signed this form. I really hope that doesnt affect our cancellation. Hubby emailed them tonight, and i'm sending a cancellation letter by recorded tomorrow. Fingers crossed everyone!0

Hi mummypig.
We are in the Manchester area and in our last two houses we have used Per-fit Windows and Doors (Rochdale). Very good prices, really good quality windows and the guys fitting the windows didn't even make a mess! They laid sheets down everywhere so I didn't even need to sweep up! I'd recommend them to anyone.
Hope that helps, and good luck with your cancellation!:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:0 -

Try looking in your local ad mag - try local joiners or specialist window fitters - I would cancel asap with Safestyle - the constant BOGOFS etc. are just pathertic - why would they give you something free?0

Had a salesman a few years back.
Too slick for words, didn't sign.0 -
I sent a cancellation last night by email (which it says in the contract is acceptable) and also a letter today by next day signed for....had call on mobile at lunch confirming the cancellation, asking for feedback and confirming they will return my £60 'surveyors fee' (he came round yesterday - so has done his work!) Anyway, have actually been pleasantly surprised by the service (and cancellation) apart from the completely rude tosspot of a salesman.

I used to do telesales for Safestyle (i was very nice and not rude and pushy I promise!) my parents had windows done while I worked there and did get a good price because of that. The windows themselves seem to be pretty good and they haven't had any problems with them. But I think the company are awful. When I was getting my windows last year I decided to give Safestyle a try and even though I told the guy I used to work there so don't bother with all the 50% off crap, he just couldn't help himself! at the time I was waiting for a loan to be sorted out and cos I had preggo brain on I let Safestyle talk me in to signing a finance deal with them to secure the price with the guy telling me I had 28 days to cancel so I could cancel finance and pay with loan when it was sorted. I didn't trust it though and called the finance provider myself the next day who told me it was 7 days to cancel, so did it through them. Got a quote from a company called Granville Windows who I think were based in Salford (and I'm in Halifax) they did a great job for half the price and very friendly.:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
