    The novelty factor is exactly why Santa has got me a Wii for Christmas. I am fed up of First Person Shooters and Racing games. So the Wii will be ace :)

  • I have just bought the current HMV deal, Wii console in Limited edition black c/w Motion Plus controller, Wii Sports & Wii Sports Resort games, the latter coompatable with the motion plus controller.
    I have set it up just to try it and it is fantastic :j all packaged away again now for the boys to play on Christmas day :grin:

    I'm getting the wii for my girlfriend along with wii fit ;) good birthmas present then I can nag her for not using it and has benefits for me!

    I got a black wii with motion plus and 2 games from additions - i managed to get £20 so came in at £159 and also buy now pay Feb 2011! was surprised how small the wii box is!
    Was a real impulse buy for family coming over at crimbo, I must admit I did have fun whilst testing it out - I'm rubbish at tennis but great at boxing lol
    Just need to find a wiimote and motion plus and another nunchuck if anyone has seen a good deal would you mind letting me know? so far seen motion plus remote for £40 and nunchuck for £11

    gamecube is an excellent choice.
  • I have three boys 7,10,15 and they dore their wii. They especialy love the mario kart, and the wii sport tennis is good too. We have definately had our money worth.

    The Wii is definitely the best choice for a family to play together.

    (Not for those wanting to sit alone in a dark room at 3am playing shooting 'games' .)
