Mobile Phone solution needed

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help.
I have a need at work to use a mobile phone for business. This need is only temporary and could be gone in about 6 months possibbly longer. We have thought about PAYG but it would cost too much as I could be looking at using maybe 30-45 minutes a day (Mon-Fri).
The problem is that the need is only temporary. One solution is signing a contract that the business covers until the need has gone. I would then continue with the contract and use the phone as my own. However, in my personal life I do not want to spend any more than £15 a month on a mobile phone.
Can anyone suggest a solution as I have never had a contract before and it all seems a bit complicated? Are there such things as monthly contracts?
Thanks very much.

In your position, I would not mix business and personal. I would offer PAYG and expect to be reimbursed on expenses - and if I did not have a mobile phone in the first place, I would expect them to buy it. If, against that background, Contract looked better, I would expect the company to fund it entirely and be the contract holder. I would not allow myself to be on a contract on behalf of a company - as they could leave you in the lurch - nor would I take over a contract. There is just too much potential grief - and I am suggesting that as you don't ahve a contract phone, you are probably reluctant for the issues which go with mobile contracts.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I know what you are saying but I do trust my organisation and I could do with a new contract phone as I am starting to use mine more in my personal life. PAYG for me is also working out too expensive!0

Could you not just get a SIM only 30 day rolling contract, this sort of thing:

(not a recommendation, just a randomly chosen example)Stompa0
