Hi called sky yday as want movie channels for Xmas.
i was quoted extra £16 for all movie channels inc premiere or £8 for a few of the movie channels i/e action or drama.
i told her this was too expensive and tried to barter £16 down to £10 but she wasnt having any of it.
she asked me if i have received any offers etc and i havent got anything!
CAn anyone help me?

I'm in the same boat. Been trying to get movies online as you get £5 free credit. but its not letting me upgrade. Says there are technical problems, also can't find the £8 pack online. Only the full £16.

I am also on the basic package and rang Sky to see if they had any offers on sports. They told me if I had received a mail shot or email then I need to quote the ref no. I said I had not received anything and was told no offers for me.

I emailed jeremy. darroch @bskyb.com their chief executive and stated it was unfair some get offers and I dont. Got a call next day sports 3 mths half price:beer:

Emailed sky using the email address you provided and got a reply within 24 hrs. They phoned and told me they would were responding to my email and would like to speak to the account holder about a movie offer and other cheap deals. Unfortunately the account holder is on holiday until Sunday so will have to wait till then to see the deals. Thank you anyway hardtimes

I took up this offer in October then tried to cancel on the 13th & they told me there was a 31 day cancellation period & would have to pay an extra month of movies. Make sure you ask them about this when ordering.... They will sting you for any extras if they can.... Not sure where we stand as they didn't mention this when we ordered.

as a sky+ customer i got a leaflet through my door for half price movies for 4 months so only an extra £2 a week, call 08442410246 offer ends on 18th december 09 just say you were sent a leaflet if they ask, there was no code to qoute, and they switched them on within the hour, you do need to quote your customer account number.
