    I didnt know anything about this!!
    so, do u just turn up and spend £25+ and choose a free gift??

    At the risk of sounding like a broken record .....we don't know yet! ;)

    LUSH have not annouced if, or when, this years offer will be.... or even if there will be one, and they probably won't until Christmas Eve evening or Boxing day.
  • Don't want to knock Lush, but I wonder why everyone believes it is all natural and handmade etc etc. It simply isn't. A quick look at the ingredients lists on the website shows this?

    eg
    "Karma Bubble Bar

    Quantitative Ingredients

    Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Tartaric acid), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Cocamide DEA, Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Orange Oil (Citrus Aurantium dulcis), Lavendin Oil (Lavandula hybrida), Pine Oil (Pinus sylvestris), Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon schoenanthus), Elemi Oil (Canarium commune), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), *Citral, *Geraniol, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 18050}

    *Occurs naturally in essential oils "

    Basically the first two are the fizzing agents, and I would say reasonably 'natural' - I have them in my kitchen cupboard. Of the next four ingredients, three are synthetic detergents/foaming agents, and one is a synthetic scent. Then some (natural) essential oils and an entirely synthetic red dye.

    I am not posting with any agenda here, but I worked as a cosmetic chemist for many years, and I can't let this pass unchallenged!

    What Lush have is a very good marketing department. You don't have to swallow their marketing hype - if you enjoy the products and find them agreeable on your skin then surely that is a good enough reason to buy them?
  • i've questioned the use of Sodium Laureth Sulfate in their 'natural' shampoo and was told it was derived in a better way than the usual one . not natural at all.
  • I love the smells of the products, but have a reaction to most of them :( even oaty facepack. boo-hiss!! My sis is a big fan though, so thanks for thee heads up, i shall go with her and tag team some bargains :D

    early in the year, the xmas stock that is leftover is bagged up to buy cheap.

    Last year it was Spend £15 get a bag containing £50 of stuff, Spend £10 get £30 of stuff, and spend £5 to get £15 of stuff.

    To add to the exitement, the bags are sealed. It is like xmas all over again, getting home and opening your bag hoping you got what you wished for! :T

    I did this two years ago, on behalf of my nieces. Sat on the mall floor for half an hour with my knitting waiting for the shop to open, ran in, grabbed the two £100 gold boxes as instructed, bought their £20(?) Christmas present sets that I was going to get them before Christmas until instructed otherwise. They were thrilled to bits and I just wish I'd been able to do it again last year. It was a laugh, and I even got myself a really nice box (white and red?) as well.
