    Sorry for butting in but what is it about this shop that people like?

    Everytime I walk passed it, it makes me feel really sick. Really overpowering smell. I've always wanted to go in and have a look but I can't stand walking passed it let alone go in the shop. All my family and friends are the same, they can't stand the smell either lol

    The smell is so strong as many of the products are "naked", imagine what Boots would smell like if someone took all the lids off! I've been to the factory and it really is all made with great quality stuff, fresh, organic where it's worthwhile, great quality essential oils etc, the packaging is deliberately kept plain so the money goes to best ingredients rather than 80% of it going on a pretty jar.

    You do get used to the knock out of the smell, lol and individually the items all smell very different, they are well worth a try - maybe grab a "lush times" next time you run past, it is their brochure so you can read about things without getting a headache :D

    Guess it just shows- everyone is different, I'll bet there are things that you love that the rest of us would run screaming from!

    Each to their own- if we all liked the same things the world would be a very different place: we'd all live in the same country, wear the same clothes and have the same job- think how hard it would be at the Christmas party- we'd all go after the same bloke!:rotfl:- (I'd say or women, but if were all only into the same thing, we'd all only go after blokes OR girls!) Differences are a good thing trust me!

    from what I remember, the sale started the day after boxing day- some stores were open boxing day, but there was no Sale -this was in the London stores I went to anyway

    yeah, last year there were stores open on the 26th, but they didn't have the sale till the 27th.

    I hate to be pedantic, but I remember you posting on the thread last year, and I replied to you then. I went to the exact same store you went to, on the exact same day you claim there was no sale, but I was the first customer in the store, there was no queue, there was a poster advertising the offer, and I got one of the £70 boxes for free along with my £20 purchase.

    is this online
  • What are the grab bags people are talking about? I can't believe I've never heard about this, will definately be popping along to our local one though, do you get to choose which gift set you want or do they just give you any random one? Is it absolutely heaving from what people remember and do you have to get there early to get the bargains? :D I'm going to be making a plan of attack :rotfl:
    D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

    my daughter does occasional part time work for Lush, & that's exactly what she said to me when I mentioned the smell

    I imagine Boots would smell pretty badly of chemicals _pale_

    Last year the sale started different days, in different braches. LUSH haven't even officially confirmed if there will be a sale this year, or if it will be the same as lasts years.

    that's where i was! the assistant told me that there were 100 pounds boxes but they'd all gone. obviously not true if you didnt get one.

    Are you sure:confused: you went to Westfield too? (this is the store I went to on Boxing day) was there really a sale there? I'm sorry- I did visit, but didn't see anything! Was it hidden/not very well signposted? Read your link but seriously- I went into the store- didn't see anything- and had my eyes checked just last week, they've not gotten any worse then when they were checked 3 years ago!
  • Is this online or just instore as theres no Lush near me.
    :A :shocked::shocked: :A
