Would offer to try it myself, but currently confined to bed with a bad back :(

Oh I feel for you! Not sure just what your back trouble is but have you tried a Bella-donna? I think they are great and always help me with a bad back or sciatica. If you've never heard of one, you can get them at the chemist (I get mine from Boots) and I think I paid about 2 quid for a package of 2 about 6 years ago. They are a big "band aid" so to speak with herbs or whatever natural stuff is on them that help cure you. You can cut it down to size if need be and stick it on where it hurts and leave it for about 3 days. It works a treat for me anyway. You have to ask for them though as they keep them behind the counter, my Boots keep them in a draw.;) Fell better soon!!:D

That sounds good- have got a vegetarian staying with me at the mo . Hope your back improves soon, CC- you have my sympathy, it makes you feel wretched when it`s bad- try & get some exercise, though, too much bed rest isn`t considered great, these days. Good luck, & hope you feel better soon

;) Thanks for your sympathy, my current exercise routine consists of rolling off the bed onto all fours then slowly crawling to the bathroom and back :rotfl::eek::rotfl:
Last night this took half an hour and I was 'seeing stars' by the time I got back to bed.
Must admit it's been quite funny shouting instructions downstairs to the males in my household on how to operate dishwasher/washing machine/tumble dryer etc :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Somehow I think they will be keen for me to be up and about again as soon as possible

Don't think it a good idea for too many people to contact Waitrose HO about the coupon policy. I feel that too many enquiries could hasten the end of coupon acceptance at those stores who, so far, are continuing to take them.

I agree with you! I'm sorry if your Waitrose stops taking coupons, one of mine has stopped a week before Christmas so I know it hurts when they do stop but I think if everybody starts emailing HO you will be bringing unwanted attention to the policy. I do have another Waitrose that I use very occasionally since they changed their policy to 5 coupons and 50% of the bill last summer and although I don't use them much, it's nice to be able to use coupons when I can shop there! I'm sure all the stores will be stopping the coupons soon anyway so please let's not all start emailing and phoning which just might bring it to a swift end in all the stores like Tesco did.;)

Were your posts removed or moved? Was one of them the i tunes one?, I was glad you posted the info. Think it is now a case of having to put the word coupon in a post if it is one of our chatting ones:rolleyes: It is a bit ridiculous, cos if posts are getting removed because they don't have anything about coupons in then if no coupons are about this thread will cease to exist, cos people will not post. Seems very petty to me. Please whoever is removing posts don't. The front page is kept up to date very well by Sher:T:T and so any newbies can just keep to the front page.

    Well said Blue!!:T:T:T

  • I feel like crying!! I've just binned all the mocs which have run out of date that I had carefully collected so painstakingly - felt like I was literally throwing my money away. Suppose I was really. On the bright side have hardly been near Mr T yet have not noticed a big difference in my spending due to now using Morrisons, Aldi & Lidl much more. Wouldn't mind going back to being able to use my mocs though!
  • Hi, don't know if this has been mentioned or if anyone interested, but, Primeval Figures (series 2 off TV) have been reduced to £2 each at Tesco, these are usually between £9.99 and £14.99, so an absolute bargain. I have bought my son 8 in the last couple of days for £16, these are worth £80 at least at normal price. These are the newest ones out as well!!!
