Just been to M & S to get some of the knock down party food (cocktail sausages 50p, sausage rolls £1 and Mini melting choc sponges £1, guess what blue is having for tea :D). Anyway, non of the money off coupons in the food hall, cashier said that because it had started they had thrown them away. Went into the non food and saw loads at the tills, but was told only one per customer. Think they are on their holidays in M & S from Tesco:rolleyes:
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

  • I paid quick visits to Sainsburys, Morrisons and Tesco tonight. In Sainsburys they were putting announcements at over the tannoy, apologising for any delays at the checkout and explaining that all trained till operatives were in use. The wait wasn't excessive anyway, but whoever heard of such a thing happening at Tesco?? I've also discovered that Sainsburys do a great own brand range of vegan frozen foods, which is a relief for me, with a vegan teenager who is unimpressed by Tesco's offerings.

BTW, for anyone want to lose weight and exercise after Xmas excesses, Morrisons have several workout dvds on offer at £2-3!

I don't know why, but yesterday I visited the local Tesco for the first time in ages: of the half dozen or so things that I wanted - they didn't have 3 of them! Was investigating the Finest Meal Deal for £9: the cabinet devoted to it was practically empty (well it was almost 1pm!) so picked up the side, main and wine from the other cabinets (from memory after looking at the website) but couldn't find a dessert, so picked up a 'restaurant finest' dessert which was around the same price as the ones included in the deal on the net, and went to look for some help - found 2 staff having a natter and asked them both if the dessert was included in the meal deal, one of them replied - "No - it's not"................... so I asked if she knew which ones were - "No- I don't know, and the cabinet is rather empty isn't it!"............... and that was it - no offer to find out or to get the info for me - I was so close to asking her if she wanted me to go and find out for her and let her know as she was obviously far too busy chatting to her colleague to help a customer. So I ditched the few items I had and left!

  • Just remembered that I saw these in Tescos on friday in a chiller at the end of an aisle and I'm pretty sure they were only £1, but also that some packs had Mocs inside 1 x 50p & 1 x 30p. Might be worth checking for a glitch :D

Been to Tesco to use my GFS Pizza Express Vouchers as they expire today. Got a great glitch as well. Sorry if you all know about it but its a big DTD.

The detol handwash has any flavour 4 bottles for £3. I picked up 4 bottles of the £1.99 ones and I got charged full price for the lot. Every flavour has the yellow offer sticker under it.

DTD worked out just under £10! Chuffed with that.
