Ive just been to tesco aswell and got 6 x pizza express pizzas and used 7 of the £1.00 gfs coupon.

Then went to waitrose and used £10 worth of other coupons without a problem. They took them without a problem and even got a smile. What a difference compared to tesco

Can confirm my waitrose has now stopped taking coupons all together... not even 10% etc.

Supervisor said it had been planned for new year for a while (i had been warned around 9th december).
  • Just remembered that I saw these in Tescos on friday in a chiller at the end of an aisle and I'm pretty sure they were only £1, but also that some packs had Mocs inside 1 x 50p & 1 x 30p. Might be worth checking for a glitch :D
    Quorn Cottage Pie 500g

    2for.gifAny 2 for £4.00 - valid from 31/12/2009 until 12/01/2010 - add 2 for offer
    £2.79(£5.58/kg)

Would offer to try it myself, but currently confined to bed with a bad back :(

That sounds good- have got a vegetarian staying with me at the mo . Hope your back improves soon, CC- you have my sympathy, it makes you feel wretched when it`s bad- try & get some exercise, though, too much bed rest isn`t considered great, these days. Good luck, & hope you feel better soon

I'm sure we will all be reporting the same in the coming days/weeks neas......There's more reports of 'business as usual' than not atm so perhaps it may be worth you getting in touch with Waitrose HO to clarify? (Doe's anyone have a 'Terry Leahy' equivalent at Waity's ) Maybe your store has jumped the gun, or maybe our's are behind the times due to xmas etc
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

No problem at mine this afternoon - took all I gave. Looks as though its on its way but hopefully some will be slower than others in bringing in.

Saw in the paper today that Waitrose has had a good Christmas with sales. They might notice a drop if they join T's in stopping vouchers. Although I think they are tops for quality and service, some of their products are more expensive & I have noticed quite a number of items creeping up in price over the last few weeks. It might be the same in other stores but as my W. has been so good for the last few months I have hardly ventured anywhere else!

Took clothes back that were wrong size and managed to use £10 off M & S MOC plus a few others (Becks Vier x 2, Cheerios Pik-a-Pak - on offer £2) and some points MOC's. Bumped the bill up with a £5.99 wine to get 75 points but MOC had run out. Went to CS and they refunded me the dosh as I only bought it to get the points!. Got 454 points including a 100 points from pharmacy flyer in local paper (got some Calpol for FD) :T. Picked up some jogging bottoms for Fd in sale marked up as £2 - went through till at £1 - result :D.
I've had 3 posts deleted today:eek: - I think for going off topic! - so please excude me for not appearing on this forum - I have tried....

I hadn't even realised that the £10 off M & S was actually a MOC until this morning when I checked the leaflet again
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Don't think it a good idea for too many people to contact Waitrose HO about the coupon policy. I feel that too many enquiries could hasten the end of coupon acceptance at those stores who, so far, are continuing to take them.

Were your posts removed or moved? Was one of them the i tunes one?, I was glad you posted the info. Think it is now a case of having to put the word coupon in a post if it is one of our chatting ones:rolleyes: It is a bit ridiculous, cos if posts are getting removed because they don't have anything about coupons in then if no coupons are about this thread will cease to exist, cos people will not post. Seems very petty to me. Please whoever is removing posts don't. The front page is kept up to date very well by Sher:T:T and so any newbies can just keep to the front page.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
