    And for all you dirty minded people im talking about snow. Weve got loads of it. So forget about coupons and supermarkets. Im taking the dog over the park he loves it even if it is only 8" deep.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Morning all - lots of lovely white stuff here in Sheffield but the roads are clear - phew :j.
    Anyway, the good news is.....drum roll..... our FD is staying with us for Christmas and New Year :T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j - best Christmas present ever :D.
    I'm sure all your kind words and thoughts helped - thanks.
    I even got a Castello Calendar :rotfl:- happy days!

    Morning all :)

    During the cold snap don't forget to take in lots of hot drinks (you can dehydrate during the winter too especially if you've got the heating on full blast).
    A soak in the bath for half an hour is good for the bones.
    Mad wears jogging bottoms under his jeans to keep his azz warm (cycle clips are optional)
    Just chopping up some veg for a constant supply of soup.

    :snow_grin Me too, no school today. Local roads pretty bad :eek: unless you like driving sideways :eek:.
    Ds decided to go to town last night to visit a new 'dancing' :shocked: club, took him 1hr 40mins to go 4 miles, as they kept stopping to help push people that had got stuck in the snow, then he got stuck in town all night as no taxis were running. He didn't get much sympathy from me, as I told him it was stupid to venture out last night, but as usual, he thought he knew best :mad:

    Plan to spend my extra days holiday making sausage rolls, writing cards and decorating the tree, then might pop up village green to play snowballs with the local kids :j
