  • Found this interesting article on how tesco's sales are slumping....... serves them right!

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/comment/margareta-pagano/matgereta-pagano-if-tescos-sales-are-a-little-limp-it-only-needs-to-look-at-its-fruit-and-veg-1839159.html

that bit where it says "I do wonder whether the truth isn't a little simpler: that shoppers are getting fed up with the poor quality of Tesco's fruit and veg....." how about looking at the attitudes of their staff and how they make customers feel like criminals was the 1st thing that sprung to my mind.
  • I saw the snow this afternoon and felt like a 6 yr old kid, got all excited looking out the window and watching it fall. Yes, it is freezing out there but doesn't it look so beautiful ............

Reminds me of a visit to Brittany a couple of years ago when they had their first snow in the village for about 30 years. There was a 3 foot fall within a matter of a couple of hours. Next day there was bright sunshine & the snow absolutely sparkled.
Everywhere people were out making huge snowmen and they were all so excited. It made up for the difficulty in getting round on country lanes!
