I think I have caught up on everything that needed to be done on the 1st page. Tomorrow morning I am off to the hospital for day surgery to fix my carpal tunnel problem in my right hand. While I'm looking forward to no more pins and needles in my hand, I'm a bit nervous about the surgery. I don't get any knock-out juice for this so I'm not too keen on being awake during the procedure! It will take the Dr. 11 minutes to do and he said I'll be home by noon time, which is a big plus. Anyway, I'm hoping it won't stop me from using the mouse so I can use the computer but I just wanted to let you all know what's happening in case you don't hear anything from me tomorrow.;)

Rather you than me sher...thinking of you tomorrow...thanks for all work done oiling the wheels of the forum, suggest you take it easy for a few days..we'll manage ....have a good time gill you lucky thing...and thanks to all for latest moc postings...sorry not been around for a while, catching up with outdoor jobs now weather has improved...new shredder being delivered tomorrow, so will be shredding for days...we have reduced a willow tree, a chocolate maple( no you can't eat it Blue) and a silver birch, as well as trimmed the beech hedge( it's almost 100 yards long and was 8ft high, now it's 6ft high)...nothing to do with mocs but I used a site called smartclicks and it gave me £10 discount on the shredder from mowdirect.co.uk ...I searched and searched for cheapest Stihl(Viking) shredder and eventally got it £50 cheaper than anywhere else and free delivery...now doing house insurance , reckon I'll be all afternoon repeating all house details...sooo tedious...cannot do it online as we have the river at the bottom of the garden and that really does worry a lot of insurers....

Thanks for this. Just checked the hard copy that I picked up yesterday - really should check the newspaper thread daily - and it's there and I hadn't noticed it because the print's so dark. Will be off to the chocolate shop tomorrow.

Super customer service in Sainsburys today. Went in to spend my £2 off £20 coupon. Got Velvet rolls with the coupon attached. They had Listerine Smartrinse on 2 for £5 instead of £4.18 each. Wanted to buy 4 but they only had 3. My fav CSA let me have the odd one for £2.50 plus a raincheck voucher. He looked up to see when next delivery was due - not going to stock it anymore. However, he said they had a different flavour. It wasn't on the shelf so he promised to look for it and ring me, which he did. It was actually a smaller bottle and wasn't on offer but he said I could have 2x 250ml for £2.50 (the offer price of the 500 ml). Shame Sainsburys are too expensive to get all my shopping there.
