I give a lot to my local hospice shop and they are always polite, friendly and very grateful - I would not give to anywhere if they were so rude
A friend of mine says she went to our local Oxfam (she said that they give a £5 coupon for M&S if you take a M&S garment in with your stuff - does anyone know if that has now changed to Cafe Direct? as I will tell her if it has ) and heard the 'staff' discussing which items they were going to keep for themselves and she was really angry about it but I have to admit I don't bedgrude them if they do as they give up their time for nothing so it doesn't bother me and hopefully she misunderstood and they do actually put some money in the till and just cherry pick what is brought in - fair enough as far as i'm concerned but others might not like it

I`ve known this, when I dropped a load of things off to our local PDSA shop- the volunteers were saying `I`ll have that` etc, & `I don`t suppose you`ve got another for my friend, have you?` Wasn`t too impressed, as they obviously were getting the pick of what was being donated by others in good faith. :(

Hi all - have just been recommended this forum by someone on the grabbit board, so I thought I'd join in, that's if you don't mind.

Have been on MSE for a while but haven't done much coupon-ing before, so if I ask stupid questions please be patient! Stupid question No 1 - where do I find couponnet?

Thanks so much to the organisers of this thread - You can see it runs like a well oiled machine! :D

A very nice lady who sometimes works with my OH gave her the 4 x £10 off a £30 shop coupons. She had been sent them through the post and wouldn't travel 17 miles each way to our T's to use them . The next one is dated today :T.

gosh, she must be a VERY VERY nice lady......nice to know there are still some lovely people out there.

I got one when they were £6 and managed to get £6.50 off it with coupons :D.
However, I can't see me buying a refill - have you seen how much they are - £7.99 for a 24 pack (2 cartidges). Even with £3 off this is way too much when I have a garage loft full of free dishwasher tabs anyway from last year's coupon frenzy :rotfl:
