I have mocs for £2 off a £10 meat spend for Co-op. I used one in Tesco on Monday, no problem, having bought £10 of meat.
Last night I was told I couldn't use it, despite having bought another £10 in meat.
Its a spend and save and I had even bought the right value in meat, so whats the problem?
I was told I could use it if it was a £2 on £10 groceries moc, but if that were the case I could still have used it to buy £10 of meat, cos thats part of my groceries, so whats the difference?
Its not like they can get the money back from Co-op, whichever type of spend and save it is.:wall:
It's Tesco so it's not very logical - but that store was spot on! The error was in accepting the first moc from you.
Tesco conditional spend policy is to only accept spend & saves which are for a minimum spend but WITHOUT mentioning any product or range. So 'yes' to a Sainsburys '£3 off £30 spend' but 'no' to Sainsburys '£3 off £30 spend on clothing' Your meat one falls into the latter bracket.
Why not spend the meat one at the Co-op anyway? I was surprised to find that their meat and poultry tastes tons better than Tesco dross.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Mainly cos the idea was to combine the moc with the 3 for £10 meat offer in Tesco. They had the better quality pork loin steaks [Norfolk reared?] included in the offer and have also had some nice lamb steaks in the offer, which were melt in the mouth tender in my Moroccan Lamb casserole last night.:)
I agree that the Co-op do have some very nice meat and poultry. They also have the 450g packs of chicken stir fry strips on half price offer of £2.50 at the moment. So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

I've said it before, who dreams this pooh up?!!! They don't even listen to what they are saying, they can't do because if they heard the pooh coming out of their mouth they would know it doesn't make any sense whatsoever!!!!! And I thought all the idiots in the country just lived near me!:rotfl:(Ya gotta laugh, otherwise we'd all be crying!) When we were publicans we had a publican friend that used to see idiocy as entertainment and thought the entertainment in his pub was better that watching TV!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -

T's have very large chicken breasts on offer at the moment at the in- store meat counter...1 breast fillet was large enough for our curry last week..also def until Tuesday and maybe unil next weekend fillet steak at the meat counter was 1/3 off...I was told by Sa that the fillet steak sold over the counter rarely goes through the tills..they had £300 stolen last month and 1 disabled woman in a motorised scooter thingy was reported to the manager by her son as being one of the culprits...she had thrown him out of the house and he reported her as a shoplifter , said she stashed the stuff down the side of her chair...
They put the fillet steak into the same sort of security boxes they use for perfumes in my local Tesco, for exactly that reason. So your answer don’t be scared of failure
