good shout!altho I don't usually have boiled eggs & potatoes wiv me vindaloo!

You should try it. Hard boiled egg(s), cut potatoes into chunks. Par boil your spuds (especially good for vindaloo/madras sauce), when u cook your vindaloo with meat half way thru' just add the spuds in & simmer until the meat are cooked. Add the whole eggs (remove the shell 1st) into the pot. Scoop it out & sprinkle with fresh corinders & serve. If you dont like fresh herbs, u can put it in the pot & stir it & serve. I can guarantee you, u save ££££ from buying it at the takeaway/indian rest' and at least u know what u are putting it in your curry.

We had hard boiled eggs in the curry in Malaysia. It was lovely, they fried the hard boiled eggs (don't know how they do it, crispy outside & normal inside) & mixed it in a "sambal" - spiced chillies.

Claire, I couldn't find the can paste @ T y'day. I found lots of jars @ £1 & the 1st page coupons are for jars.

  • Can someone please explain the logic in this. We are talking Tesco here, so logic is not necessarily applicable I guess.:undecided

I have mocs for £2 off a £10 meat spend for Co-op. I used one in Tesco on Monday, no problem, having bought £10 of meat.

Last night I was told I couldn't use it, despite having bought another £10 in meat.

Its a spend and save and I had even bought the right value in meat, so whats the problem? shrug.gif

I was told I could use it if it was a £2 on £10 groceries moc, but if that were the case I could still have used it to buy £10 of meat, cos thats part of my groceries, so whats the difference?shrug.gif

Its not like they can get the money back from Co-op, whichever type of spend and save it is.:wall:
