Re Tesco Clubcard mailing, found on hduk, note not everyone gets the same moc in their mailing, quote;

Recieved my latest clubcard deals in post yesterday and one of the money off vouchers enclosed had £3.50 off Fairy active bursts dishwasher tablets.
Went into my local store today and found that the Fairy tablets were on half price.
Then noticed that the Fairy Platinum 22 pack had 50% extra free and marked up at £3.75
Got to the checkout and it accepted my £3.50 off voucher so I ended up getting 33 tablets for only 25p.
I am very chuffed with myself

Had my Tesco online delivery Tuesday which included the Belgian Flaked Truffles boxes at 1p (ordered 10) got charged £1 each on delivery so £10. Phoned and got a £9.90 refund. Then today the local store manager lady phoned me and more or less called me a liar "we don't sell stuff that's 1p online, they are £1, we have looked and can't see them for a penny, you are not getting refund blah blah blah" really nasty attitude. I quickly logged on and told her they are still there at 1p and how to find them, to which she replied she didn't have access to the internet where she was. I suggested she "went away" and checked her facts!!!!

Phoned cs and made a complaint about her.

what a nasty nasty "lady", its about time tescos retrained all their staff, they are going to find their profits plummiting even lower because now we dont need them we go to store where the staff are really pleasant, well in most cases, be intresting to see what sort of responce you get from cs.

Morning everyone. Thank you all for your well wishes. The service was very nice, I think Mom would have been pleased with the send off we gave her. I sure do miss her, I was really blessed to have such a great Mom-in-law.

On a happier note, I have updated the thread now with everything that has been mentioned in past post. I moved the Whiskas Adult £193 and the Milka back to the 1st post. I had to move some things from the 1st post to the 2nd post to make room to bring those 2 coupons back. I've also added the new WHSmith to the store specific section. I think that was all I needed to do but if I forgot something please let me know. Happy coupon hunting everyone!!!:D

I hate to say it but my local Sainsbury's think they are Tesco! Last time I went in I wanted to buy 12 Hartley's jellies as they were 2 for 80p, 10 Candia milk, 10 milka's, 4 Dove spray and 4 Dove roll-ons along with other bits and pieces. I got to the till and they called the supervisor over to ask if it was okay to take all my coupons as the SA was sure she could only take one coupon of each product. Supervisor said it is only 1 coupon per product so I couldn't use all my coupons to which I said please call the manager as I had this same problem a few days earlier and ended up leaving the store without my groceries and called the manager the next day to complain and he said I could use more than 1 coupon if I actually bought the product. I also told him that I use several coupons at a time and he said that would be fine. His attitude had changed dramaticly since that phone conversation and he said he didn't realise I wanted to buy more than 2 or 3 items of the same product. He then told me that I could only have 6 of each product that particual day but in future I was only allowed to buy 1 of each product as if I buy anymore than 1 item per product then that is considered "bulk" buying and they are a grocery store not a cash and carry! He also kept insinuating that I had lied to him on the phone! I haven't been back there since and don't plan on going back either. They lost my petrol custom as well as I used to get my petrol from them as well. It is a waste of time for that store to have deals like the 2 for and BOGOF as they aren't any good if you are only allowed to buy 1 item per product!
