That's bl@@dy typical!!!!! I never looked in Asda at the Bertolli and went from Asda to Tesco and used all 21 coupons I had there! Never mind, I still had a great shop at Tesco, £92.93 for 29p!!:rotfl::rotfl::T:T:j:j;):DMurphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
OH wanted to do a big shop after not being able to for ages due to the snow and ice so I armed myself with as many coupons as I could get hold of.
Managed to use Waitrose £10, M & S £5, Farm Foods £2.50, 4 x Dove Spray, 2 x Dove Roll on, Pik-a-Pak Shreddies (Cardboard on offer at 96p!), etc. Loads of reduced stuff, e.g a coat for FD at £3 for a total coupon use of £32.59 plus BOGOF's and other offers of £22 - I think this is actually the most coupons I have used - EVER - even before Black Friday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: although in percentage terms it wasn't as good!.
The nice SA let me use all 6 Dove MOC's even though I'd only got 6 in me shopping :j.
I may have to use my subscription voucher and swap my Times for a Telegraph tomorrow (nice newsagent did it last week:D) to get another Waitrose MOC.
Happy days :TIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Boo... hoo!!!!! my stupid Tesco will not let me use M&S £10 or the £5 conditional spend. They (female supervisor & my regular c/o girl) said that M&S is not a competitor supermarket! that is why they can't accept it. In the end instead of me spending £70, returned most of the goods & I reduced it to £25 less £2.50 farmfood voucher.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0

Evening all
:D:D Hope everyone is ok and having a goodnight? :j:j:j
Gill an Pink took a shopping trip tonight to sainsburys an tescos an didn't have a nice experiance at tesco:(:(:(
We went to sainsburys first an even though they had run out of the Huggies baby kits we still had a good visit. We got £36 of shopping for just over £3 and were really happy bunnies when we left :T:T:T:D:D:D
Then we went down to tesco an wished we hadn't bothered :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
We tried toget the Pampers box an were told by an sa that she thought they had them at cs even though we said to her that normally they are on the shelf but she was adamantAnyway once she had moved on I had another look on the shelf and found the sel for the Pampers box but the shelf was empty so off i trundled to cs an the girl checked on the pc an told me they weren't due a delievery of them til monday :eek::eek::eek: But eagle eyed Pink as we were shopping spotted a lone box on a trolley of stock an sa was pushing out ready for tonight
:D:D with this Pink chased the sa and asked him for the box :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway I'll cut a very long story short and we went off to the till once we had got all our shopping only to be trouted :eek::eek: First of all the sa said they didn't take the conditional spend vouchers :mad::mad: an when we queried it he got the supervisor over who said the same but after our insitance went to cs (bear in mind they couldn't even gove us the correct info re the Pampers boxes) and came back an said they didnt take the M&S or Waity's vouchers then pointed at the farm foods an said we could use themShe then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't use internet vouchers even thought we had bought the products and while she was saying this the sa was trying to tell us we hadnt bought the items and I was having to find the items out of the bags an boxes an show him :mad::mad::mad::mad:
In the end we told them to stick the shoppig bar the Pampers box and nappies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: They lost nearly £200 of business and that's without the handling fee for the vouchers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T:T:T I am going to email cs shortly an tell them how upsetting and disapointing it was and mum is emailing the companies we had vouchers for to let them know we had trouble using their vouchers at tesco :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've only been back to tesco a few times since black friday but I've now really had it with them and if i can help it will not be going back again:D:D:D:D
Sorry it's such a long post and for ranting :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear about your trouting Princess.
The Telegraph has the £10 off £50 shop in again - expires Friday 22nd Jan.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
I went in local Tesco yesterday and asked about coupons - cashier said although they stopped taking competitor coupons over Xmas they will do so again at the moment (i.e. sainsburys £10 off a £50 shop type thing and farm food if you actually buy the products) ... clearly they will do it when it suits them so maybe that boycott last year wasn't as small and futile as I thought, they were doing alright over Christmas but need us now?Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale - Hans Christian Andersen2012 savings:remortgage £156.15pcm £5 pcm insurance reduced; 2012 Running totals: £10 goodwill requests/Grocery Coupons £12:T0
