Same in my Waitrose this afternoon. I expect the office staff will be pleased not to have to sort out all the coupons that must have been used recently.

Luckily the snow is now clearing so looks like a daily visit to W. will be on the agenda until the end of the month.

    Mad gets his coat.....off to Waity's :D

  • Same in Waitrose neareast me, although granted its 25 miles from me. They said it was a nationwide thing. still insisted on going through all my coupons with a VERY fine toothed comb yesterday and boy were they slow! I miss how fast they used to be in Mr T's!
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

 Just got back from Waity's, used same cashier as yesterday and she said "hello, back again, is that your shopping finished for the weekend?" as I handed her my usual 6 coupons. I didn't dare say no, I'll be back tomorrow, sunday and every day till 31st Jan :rotfl::eek: :rotfl:

Today I have been mostly buying Ariel liquid (£2.99) and Badgers cider (£1.37) with extra MOC labels on them. Spent £14 less coupons, so £5 in cash but will print 8 x 50p coupons from the cider, so shopping really cost just £1 :T:T:T:T:T:T

No -one has mentioned a change of policy at my store yet, but I'm not taking any chances and have changed my route home from work so that I pop in every day. :j

At least Waitrose have the decency to give notice way in advance.

Tesco just allowed all the SA's to embarrass as many customers as they could in one day.

Shame my nearest Waitrose is too far away. Got lots of GFS coupons to use up.

Tesco couldn't afford to pay their staff a cash bonus this year, so they stopped the coupons instead and gave them the bonus of telling the customers
    Another GFS Coupon offer
