No it doesn't say anything about it. I went via "Tesco Voucher codes- We only Carry Valid codes here" website when I googled 'Tesco voucher Codes' and on the website under 'Other codes' it tells you about the points. Theres no expiry date though it says the site was last updated on 7th Jan 08. I don't know if I've done it correctly as it's too early to see the points on my balance.
I've just googled and found this thread, so looks like this offer is out of date.. :(

  • i read on here somewhere that people pick up receipts that have been left behind at tesco and claim the points and the way you can tell if the points haven't been claimed is if the bar code is on the bottom of the receipt. Well i picked up a receipt today which had the barcode and clubcard points on it. Can anyone explain this? Have they been claimed. The receipt was over £100 but don't want to take it to the counter in case they have already been claimed.

the barcode is probably for an electrical product that is on the receipt. if you read it it should say. not sure but think maybe mobile top ups have a barcode too. if you can use it it will say on the bottom 'SIGN UP FOR CLUBCARD - you could have earned xx Clubcard points in this transaction' hth

I think if you buy anything that needs the receipt for the guarentee if something goes wrong with the product, like an electrical item, there is then a barcode on the receipt.

Thank you - yes there was an electrical item on there. Hope their item works because they won't have the receipt now. Thanks for your help. It would have driven me mad not knowing.

Have you not thought about using the vouchers to buy something then selling that on eBay? You could get more for the item then you would for the vouchers, if that makes sense?!

Do you mean buy something in store? Surely you'd get less than face value for it then?
Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!

Oh dear, well looks like that was a waste of time. Thought it was too good to be true. Also asked about the 50 points form for buying vitamins today at my tesco in Edinburgh and no-one knew anything about it. Wonder if you can use a code for that online?
Anyone know any decent tesco codes sites? getting desperate now.

No I mean for example change the points for some gift vouchers with tesco clubcard deals so £10 of vouchers for example would get you £40 of gift vouchers for one of the stores available and then buy summat then sell it on eBay.

Does that make sense? PM me if not

I never even thought about finding receipts from others and claiming their points (if they havn't been claimed).

I always see lots of receipts left in trolleys & baskets, I will be checking them from now on.

What is the time limit to add them to your card ?.

i think it is a month, but am sure i read on here somewhere that if it is over a month you can send them off to tesco and they will add them on for you.
