I, I have used Linux and it's just not for me,
I know you don't want to talk about linux on your PC but just wanted to point out that saying you don't like linux is a rather silly statement. Its on the same level as saying I don't like sweets when in fact you just dislike boiled sweets but love chocolate
There is really no such thing as just linux there are lots of differnt forms of linux (distros) each one very different for different reasons.
If you dont want to use a linux distro fine but you can't really give a blanket statement that you don't like it unless you have tried all distro's0 -

Agree. Linux distributions come in all flavors nowadays. Ubuntu often gets very good reviews by experts - and novices
Only because they either:
1) Don't know better
2) Its the best out of a bad bunch.
Ubuntu might be "quite good" but it has a lot of issues which seem to increase due to Mark Shuttleworths obsession with 6 month releases. Quality control in Ubuntu has gone down the toilet in the last two years. Only 4 months to wait to see what the next release breaks.0 -
I use:
Foxit Reader
WinRAR
Avira AntiVir Personal
Photofiltre
Foobar 2000
CCleaner
Burrrn
ImgBurn

Theres a website, which for the life of me I can't remember, that would hold all the useful program installers, so upon a reinstallation you could install all your useful programs in a sort of windows update type fashion... Gimme a minute.
Edit - Found it!

Will it give you the UK version of Firefox?0 -

Smileys noted. Well we did quite well this time around. 8.10 broke Windows network browsing and prematurely killed hard drives. 9.04 broke Intel drivers which was a big problem for 90% of the laptop users. They didn't do that this time but instead broke 3g dongles which again, is a problem for a great many laptop users. However, this time they also used EXT4 as the default filesystem which has known data loss issues with large file movements.0
