Hey everybody,
I really feel that i have been ripped off trying to claim my bank charges back, and am after any advice/experience you may have to offer me.. (am hoping someone else has been dealing with same company)..
Started off, Around December 2006, i checked the internet to claim my bank charges back, and found a site bankchargespecialists . com i called their number and paid £10 (think it was to get hold of my statements for nationwide). I was promised they would claim charges for me, and i left them to deal with it.
Every now and then i would call them and i mainly spoke to a lady called Dee, she even gave me her direct number (more about this later on).. When i would call over the months/years i was promised i would defintly get my charges back. All details i was told corrosponded with the news.
Then i got a phone call erlier this year asking me to pay £108 to guarentee that i would get my charges back.
I have since been calling them, the telephone number Dee gave me and it was just ringing and ringing and as if someone was picking it up and then hanging up on me, (i even got my friend from a different town to try) And one time a man answered and said i had the wrong number, another time i tried a lady answered saying "Headway uk". I asked for dee on both occasions and was told sorry wrong number,
I have also emailed, rang the telephone numbers from the website and have not had any response whats so ever..
I feel ripped off
Any one else in same situation? Or have any adivce for me, i would be ever so gratefull..
Many thanks
Cora

Nothing at all. Then i got a phone call erlier this year asking me to pay £108 to guarentee that i would get my charges back.
Did you pay this, and on what basis did they tell you this would guarantee your refund ? How did you pay - was it credit card ?
Will see what we can find out about this company.LegalBeagles0 -
Yes i paid by debit card, and they said by paying the £108 i would be guarenteed the full amount of charges that i am owed..0

On your paper work do you have their company registration number or claims regulation number, as there are two similarly named companies and not sure which one you are with.Address on website - Address:

Same address used by Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors (CCLS) and Cartel Client Review (sorry mods) but the address is used by a lot of these types of company and I think CCLS only recently moved there.

ILW - sadly many of these companies are quite quick to threaten defamation actions against sites such as this and the sites have to protect themselves. There is also quite a lot of competitive spamming (eg: I used this company and they were fantastic .... or .... I think this company are theiving scumbags never use them use this one instead ..... type posts) so it is hard to pick out genuine posts of people who actually need help with issues with the companies involved.LegalBeagles0
