A warning about Newvistalive survey site

Cashed out three times (£150.00) with no problems whatsoever, its a quality control measure the first 8 questions and the last 8 questions are designed to test whether you put the same answers or whether your clicking any random buttons, its easy to make a mistake which is why the test threshold is high (to see if your concentrating). Its fair i think but i agree i would be annoyed if i got to £48 and that came up.
I was under the impression anyone new to the site or old could raise any point they wanted related to the forum topic whether it be in relation to an old or new thread, new members may not always have the experience in navigating the site and may not be aware of the various threads so lets cut some slack.£8,452.67 / £11,000.00 Challenge :j0 -

It's the rules, don't start a new thread if one already exists. Nice to see a newbie actually following the rules.
Having said that, in the interest of fairness only, I have to say I agree with you. Newbie raking up an old thread ... hmmmmm0 -

I agree, Amber Sunshine has the same right to raise a point as any other member of the forum. So how about cutting her some slack?0 -

Wasnt saying that anyone cannot make a point, merely pointing out that new members may not be as experienced as the older members and therefore theres no need to be as blunt, a nice polite comment explaining the rules to a new member may have been more courteous. No offence intended to Amber at all and she has as much right to comment as do I. Just think we should encourage new members not put them off.
So no need for me to cut any slack to anyone as im merely encouraging a more friendly work together approach. Were all reading the forum with the same intentions. No need for hostility £8,452.67 / £11,000.00 Challenge :j0 -
A newbie posting is not in itself suspicious. What is potentially suspicious - and I suspect Geordie Joe has seen this too - is when a newly registered poster says how wonderful a company is when said company has come in for some criticism.0

And is able to get the notorious MSE search facility to work to find an old thread. That ALWAYS rings alarm bell with me.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Ah i see your point now, sorry i thought everyone was just being mean to the person posting. I didnt mean to sound offensive and i hope that wasnt what was construed.
I do believe New Vista Live is one of the more strict survey sites and it is quite easy to make a mistake in there surveys especially when your in a rush etc, but i dont think there designed to trip you up but rather make you really concentrate, the quality control questions are badly worded i.e. at the start you get asked how many cars belong to your household, then at the end they ask you how many motorised vehicles belong to your household.
I guess its there way of seeing who really thinks about the questions rather than rush through. I do agree with the quality control; checks as New Vista Live are one of the better paid sites i have come across, they do pay £1 for every 5 minutes and it usually says at the beginning 3 points for a 15 minute survey etc so you know what you will be earning and how long it takes (i find the time estimnations on my surveys have been accurate so far).
The down side is the £50 cash out limit, i usually find by the time i receive a cheque for £50 it takes that long to come through im already half way to the next £50.
I have been with the site for about 1 year approximately and have earnt £100.00 and im waiting for another £50.00 cheque to arrive. When that arrives i will have £16 left in there (as at the momnet i have £66.00 in my account) to start toward my next £50.00.
There surveys are pretty enjoyable and i havnt failed a quality check yet but i when i joined i read the warnings and i do take extra care with their surveys.£8,452.67 / £11,000.00 Challenge :j0 -
Being the newbie referred to earlier, I only decided to comment on this as I had only just seen Martin's posting while browsing, I have been using the "Money Expert" site for some time now for general advice but had not, until now, been a forum member, sorry if I have broken the mould or general practices of posting on the forum, I'm learning, I'll get the hang of it eventually, I'm over 65 and not very good with computers, but finding new things of interest all the time, like this forum for example.0

In addition, I found the thread simply by googling Newvistalive, I do this with lots of sites when I want to see what others say about them or if there are any security issues, that's how I came into an old thread.0
