O2 charging me for iPhone Roaming Data Charges I didn't use!

I've had a bit of a brainwave.
I think I was connected to a wifi zone abroad which was The Cloud or BT Openzone or something and it's billed me to my O2 bill.
If so, I was given no warning that this would happen. Normally it would tell you what the charges are, ask for payment etc.0 -
Usually the IMSI is the phone number in international format, Orange let you view yours on Orange World.
No, your IMSI is 15 digits long, is unique to you world-wide and is never made available outside of a telecoms network, as it's one of the two items needed to clone a GSM phone (I won't publish the other for obvious reasons). Orange would never give you your real IMSI for that reason.0 -

BT Openzone is UK only and The Cloud only operate in the UK, Germany and Sweden. If you were connected to any other public wi-fi service you would have been asked for card details to access the service, you wouldn't be billed by O2.
When you were abroad did you turn 3G off/on a lot? You may have accidentally hit the data roaming option with your palm and turned it back on, it really is easy to do on a iPhone.
PS. The reason they wrote off your first charge with no fuss is that they do a "bill shock credit" as a one off goodwill gesture, any usage after that you are liable for (pending a network investigation if you are disputing the charges). Although, O2 will see the charge as being correct until a response from the team is received so you will usually need to pay or risk being barred. If the response from the investigation comes back saying it was used no advisor/manager on the phone can write off the charge from my experience, you will need to write/email high complaints.0 -
Wont they freeze the charges? Until the investigation is complete?

If the foreign network sends info saying that the user did use the Data how would complaining remove the chrages? They used the data surely they should pay for it0
