Are accucard still taking direct debits?

I had a lot of trouble with Accucard trying to tell me that my direct debit mandate did not exist even though my bank, Halifax, said it did. I think they said this just to bump up charges. Since it moved to Lloyds I have had no problems. Does anyone know if I can claim the bank charges applied by Accucard from Lloyds?0

I don't know the answer to your question, but you do realise that Accucard (along with a few others) was just a name used by Lloyds TSB? In other words, it wasn't a takeover; we were with Lloyds TSB all along.blossomsmum wrote: »Does anyone know if I can claim the bank charges applied by Accucard from Lloyds?
Which reminds me, I must get round to cancelling the unwanted and pointless Lloyds TSB platinum card which replaced my Accucard.0
