Are accucard still taking direct debits?

No payment has been taken from my account today. Do I need to make it manually?
Lloyds have been pretty poor with their communication in my view - and now I can't even view my account online, which adds insult to injury.

I agree, its not been the best, my account has been moved over, but I don't have the card yet!
i've been told that I can no longer pay by debt card over the phone and I need a current account to see on line access.
overall poor, but I was advised that Direct Debt would be transferred over and I would not have to make manual payments.

It doesn't look like it. Mine was due out at the beginning of the week but nothing has been taken from my bank account.0

It is weird that one can no longer access statements/transactions on the Accucard website. It seems that all my credit card history has disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle. Has anyone any ideas as to what one is supposed to do about this please?
I just want to check that all recent transactions are correct and that direct debit payment has been completed.

I got a Lloyds TSB Platinum replacement for my Accucard. Their Platinum call number is 0870 010 6909. My new card had the balance showing from the Accucard account and referenced to that card's number. Cashback was credited to the new account on 1 Jul 06 in the correct amount also referenced to the old card number. They would not classify it as a new card so no 0% deal. They did offer 5.9% interest on balance transfers but no good to me as I used Accucard only for cashback. Now switched to Egg Money and will ditch the new card once I have spent the cashback. I have a Lloyds current account so the new card showed immediately once I logged in. You need to be a current account holder to access the new credit card online. Ask them them when your paper statement will be posted.0

I noticed that my first Direct Debit to Lloyds was almost a week later than usual.

I don't have a Lloyds TSB current account so the nice lady i spoke to on the Platinum Credit Card helpline told me i had to register on the website. Now i will have to wait and see if i can do this when i don't have a current account /grumble. You'd think they'd post a re-direct on the https://www.accucard.com website to the https://www.lloydstsb.com website at least :rolleyes:0 -

I agree with that. They shouldn't have sent the Accucard website to the Bermuda Triangle until we had been given the opportunity to view all recent transactions particulary since one has to have a current account with Lloyds to have online access (which I don't and won't, thank you).0 -

The new card has a longer interest-free period than Accucard did. They've kept the statement date the same, so the payment due date has moved back almost a week.
This was one of many changes to the T&C listed in their initial mailing. They went on to say that they reserve to right to reduce the interest-free period in future, eg. if you always pay off in full.0
