Bulldog Broadband

I am on BTYahoo anytime plus I line rental with BT which costs about £31.50 per month.

I got my monthly email from PC Pro, and in the news item they said that Bulldog had reduced the price on their 4 Meg Broadband connection. Upon following up IT APPEARS that they are offering phone plus 4MB/s for £30/month and £39/month for free UK calls, this price would be fixed for 12 months, it is 25% reduction on their usual rates. They say you pay nothing
to BT. You do, however, have to pay a connection charge plus buy a Modem.

Being the suspicious type this seems too good to be true - Broadband for less than I'm paying for dial up!

Anybody had dealings with them, or know anybody who has had dealings with them?

They are at:

Many Thanks

Matt

i am with bulldog but not on their 4M line. their 4M deal is with fone line rental, therefore you wont need BT as your line provider. it's a pretty good deal as you getting a BT line and broadband. most broadband provider cost about £20 for 512k/1M line and BT line rental about £10, so getting a 4M and line rental is not too bad.
  • Can you still use 18866 for cheap phone calls if you have a Bulldog line?

If thats (i.e.£30) is more than you're paying for dialup you're paying waaaay too much.
