if it's for a children's christingle service, just put a notice out asking anyone in the congregation that feels they can, to donate a small bag of oranges. did this the year i organised it and we had more than we needed donated so cut up extras to go with the tea coffee and biscuits! have a great time.0

Here I am again! We need about 125 oranges this year.
I think I am going to ask my local Tesco as they have a charity coordinator. But if anyone knows any supermarket bargains please would you post.

There is a wholesale fruit and veg shop in Newcastle that sells by the box and is really cheap.0 -
Do you have a local Asda? they have a community coordinator (my DD is the one for her store) and this would be just the sort of thing she would help with.0

Each year we make about 270 Christingles at school I work at but thankfully we send out a request for each child to bring in an orange to complete theirs.
When I had a grocery shop a few years ago members of the public could go to the fruit & veg warehouse and buy in bulk if they wanted. Hope you find the cheapest source soon.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

Tesco value oranges 59p for 6 in a net.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
