Statute Barred advice

pride or morals has nothing to do with it.
wheres pride or morals when the banks kick people out of their homes, use peoples benefits to offset other debts leaving them with no money to feed themselves and quite happily let get you further into debt knowing they will make a fortune from the charges they will apply .
the banks dont give two ####s about its customers so why should we feel any different about them?
Try reading the OP,s full question........He,s not trying to get out of not paying the debt at the same time as asking if its statutte Barred.......
Doesn't quite add up does it?.......Its got f**k all to do with how banks behave its to do with people borrowing money and not wanting to pay it back...........
You make a pact with the Devil you,ll get your hands burned....The sooner !!!!less tw@ts learn some morals the better.
Why do you think banks should have morals? they are businesses end off.If you think you have a valied gripe then blame the politicians ,they make the rules that banks abide by...The OP hasn't even bothered to pay back the initial sum less interest and as such gets little or no sympathy from society generally.
I know far more people who borrowed beyond their means ,"want it now" morons than those who are GENUINELY poor.At the end of the day if you have various loans, dozens of CC and £££thousands in debt take a look at yourself 1st.........there lies the problem, like alcaholics they need to admit they have a problem....Then address it,blaming others will not solve the issue........;) The OP is clearly the former as the banks offered him a deal 50% and he still wouldnt pay.......IMO he should NEVER be allowed credit of ANY kind for the rest of his life....(unless he pays up in full of coarse)
Merry Christmas All:D0 -
You think it is ok to borrow money and not pay it back
When did this attitude of 'looking to get out of paying debts', come in?
If your employer didn't pay you because your claim for your pay was unenforceable, would you think that was ok too? Or if the banks and building societies refused to lend to you ever again or give you a bank account, because of your poor attitude to debt repayment, would that be ok too?
Point 1 - Stop ranting when you are clueless - I know the law, evidently you don't - go cry now little boy....
Point 2 - Employers pay wouldn't come under unenforceability so you cannot even try and move it into the same context - sorry.
Try again and next time, talk sense there's a good boy :T:TOnly "happy days" if they have no pride, surely?
Pride means nothing in court!

I am rather sad because of you - you strange freak. I don't care about unenforceability and all the other weird stuff you spout on about. Take out loan then pay it back.
And whats with all this
:j- are you just a child having a laugh? If so, then I take it all back. Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Is this how you retaliate then? You're not intelligent enough to throw back some legal jargon so you have to resort to cheap insults? It's just confirmed what I already knew - you lack basic intelligence so for that my son, you've wasted your time cos unfortunately for you I don't bite

What you mean to say is you're jealous as hell cos you're stupid enough to pay for an unenforceable debt? The law is there for a reason, that does not make those that utilise it dregs of society!
You are unreal
Agree 100%. I have been to court on numerous occasions and successfully made unenforceable cards/loans worth £40,000. I am not stupid. I defended myself. In fact I studied Law and Business at University.

'retaliate'??? Its called a response skipper - do you get like this with all the folk who question your motives??
You're right about my intelligence too - massively limited, but principled.
You're a weirdo John but I see you have your supporters, I wonder why??!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Another top piece of advice from the forum's favourite troll..!! Albeit the advice is wrong you !!!!>>!0 -
If they are offering a 50% settlement then tell them to RAM IT UP THEIR HARRIS!
They are getting desperate for the cash as it looks like it is now SB hence the offer.
'Cos clearly the best outcome is for someone to borrow money and not be bothered to pay it back.
Do you understand that the whole financial crisis was created by people not paying back what they owe?
Stick that up your Harris.0
