HTC HD2 on Asda Mobile?

I'm considering purchasing a HTC HD2 and using it with an Asda Mobile sim, I'm curious if using it on Asda Mobile will effect anything? 3G anything like that? The reason I want to use Asda Mobile is because their tariff is amazing.

ASDA use the Vodafone network so I think they would 3G support. Although I would question why you would want to use a high spec phone on a PAYG tariff without a proper data plan. I have a 3G phone and use mobile internet all the time when out and about. Built-in wifi is good, but not much use when you're on the move.

Each to their own I guess and can I ask why the HTC Touch HD2? Play have the Acer F900 on discount at £179.99 unlocked, which I'm considering getting myself.

I've got the original HD and have only used mobile internet about twice. I've had it taken off my Orange account as I can't really see much point in it.
