So if people are recommending checking-out after a certain number of items, then doing it again, does that mean you'd pay more than one lot of postage costs?
Whenever I've done this, I've rung them up afterwards and asked them to take off the extra postage charges. They've always honoured this (so far). The reason I checkout more than once is that the site often crashes and loses everything in your basket and then you have to go through the whole process again. Next know this happens and have never seemed to have a problem with sorting out the postage charges for me.Most recent wins: IPad, Jamie Magazine yearbook, Links of London friendship bracelet, Baumatic ice cream machine! :j0 -
Its ok. sorry i didnt think about there being personal info on it.
Basically i was told i have a slot but never received a email so i have been told by a CS if i get a copy of the email that next sends out and sent it to the email address the lady gave me i would then get my slot. Seems a bit strange they want me to find an next sale email when ive not even got it yet.
Thanks0 -

Hmmm, funny that... I see you managed to "cheat the system" in the summer sale in your previous posts. I hear that they will check your account this time if you try and order when you don't have a slot, so might be a bit embarrassing;)
I just don't understand why people do this! It's really an unfair thing of people to do, especially as it can cause problems for people who were genuinley allocated a slot!0 -
God who's being MISS BLOODY MARPLE???????????0

I'm pleased that i've managed to get a 7pm time slot. But it appears so has everyone else that had an invite. There's going to be alot of people logging on at 7pm. What are the chances it'll crash within minutes?!
Also disappointed that there are no electrical items this time. But you never know this may change before the sale starts! Optomistic of me i know!
Has anyone else had the problem in previous sales of their sale item never arriving? There were 2 items (electrical) i was told i would definately recieve but there was a delay. Then about 8 weeks after the sale i recieved an e-mail saying that my order wouldnt be completed. I was gutted.0 -

Yes this has happene to me several times, I don't think you can really bank on anything (especially if it has a delay notice next to it), until you've had it delivered!!0 -
