Usually you can order up to 70 items per order, then you have to checkout, log back in again (if within your slot) and you can repeat. I usually checkout after 40 or so items, in order to prevent them going out of stock before I checkout, then place another order etc...
The slots last 5 hours, but I think as it fills up, they'll do the next slot 8pm onwards etc...so each person gets a long time to place orders, but they still stagger the numbers...just my guess.
emweaver, I think you are right. Makes sense why the original sale listing that we saw a few days ago had so much good stuff but they pulled it very quickly - obviously still hoping people buy before christmas rather than see it at sale price and decide to wait until afterwards even if it is a present.
Does anyone know the numbers of the catalogues that this sale material comes from? I'm trying to work out which ones I have at home for my mum to look through before Tuesday.0 -
So if people are recommending checking-out after a certain number of items, then doing it again, does that mean you'd pay more than one lot of postage costs?0

Could someone please email me a copy of an email, the one that next has sent you regarding the sale.
Thanks0 -

Yeap - but you are saving. Items quickly go out of stock, so the more you want something the quicker you have to be to finalize your order. That's why it is better to be charged for the postage again.catch220 -
or copy and paste it on here.

ah okay, that does make sense! so do about 50 or so items then check out? and obviously doing it through Quickshop is the best way?0 -
Unfortunately it has personal details within it, but is there something in particular you need to know from it?
People want the email so they can fob next off by pretending they recieved the email and the link isn't working! I would urge people not to do this as it means more slots going out that havn't been accounted for, therefore a higher chance of the site not being able to cope with the amount of people logging in!0 -
Its ok. sorry i didnt think about there being personal info on it.
Basically i was told i have a slot but never received a email so i have been told by a CS if i get a copy of the email that next sends out and sent it to the email address the lady gave me i would then get my slot. Seems a bit strange they want me to find an next sale email when ive not even got it yet.

yep its always best to get your must-have items in your basket and checkout asap
then go back and order the rest of the stuff
some people phone up and ask for only one lot of p&p to be charged, but ive never had the balls
last winter, once your timeslot was up, they gave you an additional slot a couple of hours later, but this time the time slots, seem to cover quite a few hours - the only time constraint seems to be that you have to put something in your basket within 30mins or you get locked out - after that you can browse at your leisure until midnight it seems
