I put ours up tonight, feel very festive now and ready for xmas. None of the lights needed mending either :j

No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

nope - next weekend for me! no kids at home to nag to put up decorations...........and I hate the blooming things anyway! OH will nag next friday (he wont say a word before - he knows they get put up in the fortnight before christmas day) and i will reluctantly put them up! all this bloody fuss for one day! and I am not even a christian - resolved to call it Pressie day from now on!0

Ours went up last night, we were assisted by ds1-ds3 (5, 4 & 18 months).
We had to play hunt the bauble before we could hang them as ds3 was throwing them everywhere. Got there in the end though

My DD is coming home to live after a difficult year away so I am waiting for her to get here on Saturday- V excited can't wait to see her!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0

I wasn't going to put one up cos I'm going to New Zealand for Xmas but I'm having friends over on Saturday night so I'll put up my small fibre optic one and some lights too on Saturday afternoon.
