Cheap International Text messages
Options
Hi there,
Long time reader first time poster looking for some advice.
I have just recieved my O2 mobile bill and due to the fact my girlfriend living in Canada, I am incurring international text message rates which are making my phone bill excessive. It is a new contract and besides the international texts it is saving me alot of money and making me careful with usage bar this problem.
So now my question, I was wondering if anyone knew of any loopholes or add ons or suggestions besides sending text messages from 02 online(which I dont even know if they send internationally) to help to cut the cost of these international text messages?
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope we can find something for my self and others!
Lucien

Use http://www.mobiwireless.com/MobiSMS/ best way to send sms from O2 I found cost just under 3 euro cents per message to Canada. You can do it online or from your phone where it also use a bit of GPRS allowance but you get some allowance from O2 for GPRS usage and afterwards it does not use much ie say other 1p on top. Much cheaper than doing it direct from O2.0
