Virgin Will Not install before Xmas

I ordered a tv subscription on 4th dec - as the website claims that all orders made before the 9th Dec. will be installed before Christmas.

When I received a response I was given the installation date of 30 Dec.
Not in time for christmas.
The only response from them is "sorry it can't be done".

so unless you already have virgin tv, and are just after an upgrade, I wouldn't believe what you read on their website.

You can thank VM for getting rid of 90% of inhouse engineers in favor of contractors for that!

I think it depends on where in the country you are to be honest. Im about to move house and as a totally new Virgin customer ordered an installation on 7th December for 21st December. I had to call Virgin on 11th December to change installation dates as we wont have moved house in time for the 21st and they said they could install on the 23rd if I wanted. So it may well depend on where you are. This was for Newport SE Wales.
