Is it possible to record karoke to a cd or dvd?

Is it possible to record karoke to a cd or dvd using a home computer? A child wants a song which was made about them recorded on cd for Christmas. Any ideas how it could be done?

You need a specialised program (or a stack of freeby programs + plenty of patience) to burn karaoke CDs. You also need the cdg lyrics files that go with the mp3s.

There may be a freeware karaoke disk burning program - somebody will doubtless post up alink soon.
