I didn't think the getpoundsback forum worked as it used to do? Last time I looked you couldnt post questions only offer related stuff on there. I noticed thier website runs out in May so hoping it will be renewed or it will be something to worry about. If he is on holiday and couldnt reply to emails I would have thought he would have let it be known

You need to log on to the Forum:o

I've never had any problems with replys from GPB to emails, tickets or PM's any CB problems are sorted out very quick:T

As for the website running out in May, that will be renewed
I think it's the security certificate or sommat thats due about then:o
IIRC last year there was a few probs with browsers updating to accept the new certificate and that was around May:think:

In my opinion they are the best run CB site, with the correct buisness plan, they pay out when they get the money,

Perhaps I didn't access the forum properly then, I will have to check it out again, it just seemed much smaller than it used to with less threads and discussions, I probably did something wrong :o

I think Neil had a bit of a clear out for the New Year, I remember thinking how bare it looked too :rotfl:but don't let it put you off, IMHO it's as NumptyMonkey says and one of the best sites around atm, and another is the sister site Crunch Cashback :D

Thanks for showing us this, it's a nice gesture and much better than other site owners have done. It makes a change from all the doom and gloom to have some good news too :T
Does this also apply to the related sites - Noteco and Student... does anyone know?

It's not very clear, but you can see the full announcement here:

I posted the question on their forum, seems the best place to ask ;)

    Short answer: no.

Can anyone tell me if they have the same problem with TopCashBack as me?

Myself and my OH do the same sets of daily clicks. We always do them at different times, on different laptops, and have a strict routine of turning the router on and off to get new IP addresses in between sets of clicks, plus clearing histories, caches, cookies and flash cookies. However, this problem always happens: whoever goes first will get The High Street Web to track twice, but whoever goes second will only get it to track once. Why is this? It can't be time of day or the clicks 'running out' because this will happen even if we both get our clicks done before e.g. 9am, but on a different day if we both don't do our clicks until after e.g. 6pm whoever goes first will still get two tracking.

How/why is this happening? How do we fix it? It is ONLY TopCashBack that has this problem (we both have pretty much 100% track on all the other sites we both do). I know it's only 4p a day but it's bugging me!

Yes, it bugs me too as we have exactly the same problem. I'd have thought IP address was the key, but like you, we reset the router to get a different IP address. I've tried it on 5 different computers, different browers etc, but nothing seems to make any difference! What else could possibly link the accounts? Even if they are linked then I'm still not sure why it happens as we're not doing anything wrong?

It's very strange, and I don't think I can be any help as you both seem to have tried everything. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it's TCBs own way of restricting clicks, perhaps by your personal details such as home address?

Have you asked on TCB's forum?

I sometimes find that if the second click goes to a different landing page then it doesn't track

Will try asking on the forum or emailing TCB directly. Glad to know it's not just me though. Can't think of anything else linking the accounts other than home address, but you'd think that they'd either allow one account per person regardless of address, or one account per household, rather than putting some unwritten limit on people's accounts. I'm fairly sure we always get the same looking THSW page when we do our clicks (the plain white one with two search boxes in the middle) so not sure if it's that but will keep an eye out for the next couple of days. Will find out somehow!
